In this session, leading members of movements dedicated to promoting freedom in the realm of information, technology, and society will present their respective approaches, along with the theoretical underpinnings behind them. We will examine how the various conceptions of "freedom" have impacted the social movements promoting it, and how such ideology has shaped the resulting action. We will also look to connect theory with practice, exploring the real world implications of these movements.
