With Americans spending twice as much time outdoors (away from their PCs and TVs) as they did just a couple decades ago, the focus on reaching people on the go has become top priority to businesses of every size. Indeed, spending this year on out of home advertising is projected to reach 1.7 billion dollars by the end of 2007 with continued growth as technology platforms enable faster, better targeted, and more attractive means of presenting messages in places ranging from coffee shops to movie theaters. Marketers--brand or direct--need to know what technologies are available now, what’s on the horizon, and how they can immediately make use of this increasingly popular marketplace.

Previously, he was Senior Director of Search Products at Yahoo!. Prior to Yahoo!, Ali was General Manager of the MSN Mobile and Broadband product groups at Microsoft, where he oversaw the growth of MSN Mobile to become the World’s #1 wireless Internet services portal. Before Microsoft, Ali was Co-Founder and President of BuildPoint.com, the World’s first online commerce site for the construction and real estate industries. Ali is a graduate of Stanford University and Oxford University.
